Many have speculated as to what great, damned warrior
now lives in torment within the burning armor that
marches alongside the Hellbourne army. The Accursed,
as he is known, screams in agony as he brings fiery
devastation to his foes, but his actions seem driven more
by a desire to find oblivion than by malice.

Level 1 : Applies sear to target for 2 seconds slowing 5% of movement speed.
+10 increased attack speed and 10% movement speed for 4.5 seconds to those who attack target
Level 2 : Applies sear to target for 2 seconds slowing 10% of movement speed.
+20 increased attack speed and 10% movement speed for 4.5 seconds to those who attack target.
Level 3 : Applies sear to target for 2 seconds slowing 15% of movement speed.

The icon for Flame Consumption is the same as Fire Shield, but they are supposed to be different icons.
Correct me if I’m wrong but doesn’t the Lord of Avernus version of Fire Shield still detonate and deal damage after a certain time even if it isn’t set off from breaking?
Too often I cast Fire Shield, take damage but not enough to break the shield, then the shield wears off and nothing happens. I think it should at least deal out SOME damage when it wears off even if it isn’t broken by enemy attacks…

also i use these items for this character to own people and mainly towers and creeps.
To start for standard 603
-Minor totem x2(they sell back almost same)
-Iron Buckler (u will convert into helm)
-Homecoming Stone
-Mana potion x2
Then upgrade in this order
-Helm of the Black Legion
-Barbed Armor
-Mock of Brilliance
-Sustainer
-Enhanced Marchers
-*depends on enemy,
1-Shrunken Head(takes off debuffs and stuns)
2-Shamans Headress(if they have alot of magic)
3-Runed Axe(for more aoe damage)
4-Icon of the Goddess(if you like more mana)
5-Homecoming Stone(If you want to get around)
***Also i use Fire Shield on my creeps and use them to take damage from the enemy heros or just creeps. They take alot of damage from them and if the enemy is melee its great. They might not attack the creeps if they are melee which great of they might not notice and take a good amount of damage.
Hope all this helps, I have been able to solo towers at lvl 11 while having creeps attacking me. This guy owns!!!!
Does crit(Rift Shards) work with this guys…never seen it proc and bought it the last 3 times
ultimate tank+support build. Mekansm, phase boots, shivas guard, heart of terrasque. U wont die, and ur allies wont die easily either. Great for team clashes.

I tested it on the Practice Server, and yes Crit does work. I had a weapon with an orb effect at the same time.
So Sear, Orb (Bash), Crit, and AoE from Runed axe all at the same time. (Very unpractical but it shows it always works)
The funniest thing I found was nearly two attacks per second (1.9 attacks/second) with Elder Parasite and Sear with steam boots.
this is a kinda stupid, how can you slow an enemy if youre using fire ???
just something i discovered today, ilus of accursed also trigger their ulti and heal themself when hitting 400 hp

Honestly I really wish cauterize scaled better, I once sugguested that it cost 5% of his max hp and dealt 1.5x/1.7x/2x/2.5x that as magic damage or as a heal. Most matches when I “tank out” abaddon, I reach 2.6-2.3k hp, depending on if I rush heart or go for a VG, which with the 3.3h is a little over a 400 damage single target nuke/heal. The problem was that it deals about 50 hp for heal/damage at lv one and at 777 hp. which isn’t an unreasonable amount for lv 1 & starting items.

Barbed armor (most important item, if your ulti is up, and you’re not ganked ahrd, you last long enough to often pop this 2 times durring a combat, more if it’s a long base-push)
This is my core build with him, everything else depends on who i’m up against, and what role i’m playing.
If i’m tanking out as a tank/pusher/support i’ll go for
Runed axe
Behemots heart
staff of the master (the 2 extra second are worth a lot!)
If i’m going for a more tank-carry/dps approach i’ll go with
Runed axe
Insanitarius
vlads/elder parasite/Symbol of rage, whichever one you like, dunno if parasite works with sear.
Parasite + insanitarius may be too much self punishment, unless you’re going for pure bust for 1v1 combat, in which case it doesn’t matter, cause you’ll pop your shield and be invulnerble for 5 seconds (and fully healed) and with the dmg output, i doubt most people are gonna last to “kill” you 2 times.
If going for parasite, make sur eyou’re dealing enough damage already. Hate to see it when people are high lvl accursed with parasite but NO FUCKING DMG ITEMS! basicly making them useless both as DS and tank.
** last spot is usually for homecoming stones, or whatever you please, it’s an expensive enough build in the first place.

Does Insanitarius work with ult? I found not, the self-dps didn’t convert to a heal. Is this supposed to be?
My items on acursed are (it’s a tough one, but it makes you imba) in exact the same order
1st i buy boots and 1 healing potion… i know it’s silly, but if u have skills, u don’t need tons of useless cheap items
then i raise money for arcane ring (i sell it later, for money… and it’s useless on hygh levels)
i make hack and slash(imba item on this hero)
then i make elder parasite
i make then something damage(something cheap, such as brutalizer… and i don’t upgrade it, unless it’s a very late game)
and i try to make butterly, because it gives attack speed, and evasion, wich is great… at lvl 25,
with this build, the hero is almost imba…
