Because CD is one of the best gankers and rune control heroes with his insane move speed. He is a soft carry/ganker that has pretty good DPS abilities. Chronos and Swiftblade are much more late game carries that need farm and items. CD pretty much rapes with bottle and phase boots and throw in a firebrand and you will never die unless you get CC’d.

Im sorry if this sounds stupid…
but I don’t get why CD is picked in pro games when there are other much more powerful carries such as chronos or swiftblade or predator that will simply own CD?

Can someone please explain.

the main weapon base you want to stick to is if your soloing mid is a bottle, then get steamboots, then start baseing your items for the charged hammer, after you get that your attack speed with be okay but not the best after that i get frost burn and if the game isnt over them i just get wingbow to rush in and end it with the evasion no one can touch u and even if they do all u gota do is ult tide and you will hit 4 times to their once try that build it always works for me.

You should get a wingbow to help with the damage while letting him kill lots of heroes and get a behemoth’s heart which adds 10% damage get both of them and you’ll be god like

Thats the old razor. Razor had a complete remake since version 6.60 i think. hes been given nukes at the cost of atk spd.

@simon well, one of the fastest… 522 is max moevspeed, and i’ve hit with several heroes.

Pesti with steamboots and frostburn
scout with same items
just 2 examples, theres several other heroes that can reach max movespeed.
