An ancient protector of the forest, the Keeper fights to save
the lush lands of Newerth he has tended to his whole long
life. Possessing a spiritual link to the trees, the Keeper has
the ability to see what they see, be hidden amongst them,
and even use them as brutal weapons to aid him in battle.

How many can you have of/how long does the tree wards last? (Tree Sight)

its not quite treant protector, his 3rd skill is completely different. which i believe dimishes his value as a support hero.
also, there is some weird spacing with the character description

His wards add +4 hp regen aura at max level whereas rooftrellen’s just gave sight. That is basically what his root armor did sans the +12 armor buff. They basically gave treant damage contra armor.
Does a true sight gadget last forever, and can he have unlimited of them?

yes the tree of sight last forever, as long as the enemy or your allies dont destroy the tree that has it, it gives +4 hp regen to a 1200 radius and sight for 690

no longer reveals invis, unless that was also changed in dota, i haven’t played that in a while.
Having eyes at level 4 (when you are at level 7), along with its benefits (+4 Health Regeneration and sight radius) can potentially make it game-breaking.
It gives junglers additional HP regeneration, and, depending on the proper placing of the eyes, can allow you to escape from enemy heroes who wants to gank you. Sure, True sight may not be present, but the thought of placing unlimited eyes and gaining an extremely favorable map control is just too grand to pass.
Can you wallop people in the forest as you’re invisible?

the fact is, the new tree wards are kinda not that useful unless you bunch the together and even then, the chance of a battle occuring in that area is pretty small and your wasting the skill my putting it all in one place rather then everywhere like wards.
@theowne how are unlimited, indefinite wards not useful?
u pay 200 gold for wards with anyone else that last 2 minutes.
the enemy can barely even detect them unless they walk right by.
everytime i play this guy i spam tree sight asap. if u put a ward down every opportunity, by end game u will see the enemy team assembling for ganks, pushes, kongor and neutralling. try playin the game with this sort of advantage and u will wonder how u ever did without it.
loved the surprise of my enemies when my ally kraken showed up with his ulti sucking them straight to me and my ulti under the protection of a tower. my team tore them to shreds and all because i warded and spotted them assembling at the hellbourne secret shop.
Unfortunate Keeper of the Forest is somewhea weaker compared to Rooftrellen. Rooftrellen actually had an agility growth of 2.0 instead of 1.4 (before it was buffed, it was once 1.1). Nature’s Vengeance doesn’t quite synergize with the low attack speed of KotF.
If I read the comments right Living armor’s regeneration was actually given to his Tree Sight. It does sound very nice to have a +4 regeneration for both heroes instead of one but an enemy can just blight the tree to deny it. The only practical way to make sure of the regeneration is to have it somewhat closer to your area and tower. It does, however do help junglers a little as well as function as a ward.
Uh, i started playing tree and yeah, I change my mind. If tree is a late gamer and when he gets lvl 4 eyes, its pretty much spammable and If you don’t notice, Alot of people don’t see or even care to blight the trees. In fact, only one person I have played with actually blighted but that was it. Most people are too lazy or too ignorant to even try to find those wards.
Oh, another way is to eye trees that are inside the jungles. Putting in trees surrounded by trees pretty much protects it since they will never be able to get close enough to see it and the range of the eye is enough to see a large area around. Its pretty good i’d say :T
This hero’s invis animation on the target needs to be made more obvious. Alot of the time as tree, you invis people, even decent ppl, but because it isn’t totally obvious when you’ve been invised they ignore it.
Make the target animation on invis more obvious to fix this problem!
Damn they removed the dmg spell and then s2 gave him the armor and reg spell that is the classic treant (in dota) and they removed the reg that the tree sight spell gives when ur near it. Really hate what they did but the armor thing works on towers to thats sick and its True because i saw it myself! XD
The new keeper is good actually, with a +12 armor boost and regen which has low cooldown I practically made my team unbeatable in early game…combine that with his ult and some usually weak agi/int heroes and you have a winning team!
We took their towers down too easily…the invis is ok, I use it to escape, put most of my skill points in stats and tree armor and one skill point on the eye… it’s good to be able to see the map in late game sure but more HP and dmg is better imo and you can finish the game faster! My new favorite hero! As long as you deny and control your lane and get some last hits you will be fed and ready for anything!
well, it matters how you wanna play tree. If you can max out eyes early, your team will have complete map awareness and by mid game, you would be able to know where all your opponents are which means your team can gank 24/7. By puting points away from everything else, your team is gauranteed to win but you probably won’t be ganking much and more of playing support. Its true tree could do more damage and and give himself and armor and regen boost but even then, he will not win against any dps heroes or carries one on one.

They should lower the CD on his ulti to like 100 because no one is ever going to play this guy because deadwood can own keeper. deadwood has a skill that is like his ulti and has a lower cd. They should make him better
Treant excels only in team battles to my mind. His moves don’t allow for good offense with his ulti being useful with that CD only for a team fight. His ulti does horrible dps and compared to rootfellen 1st mve it’s almost unfair. Map awareness ‘wards’ rocks but cooldown is crap and besides, these trees aren’t invulnerable or anything. An enemy deadwood may accidentally counter it. No one mentions buff this hero because of his team game performance but he may be in need of a buff.
I just love this hero, whenever I play him by the end of the match I practically see the entire map ^^
I stick to a simple build with this guy:Resto stone, Ghost Marchers, Frostfield Plate, Mock of Brilliance, Daemonic Plate and i’m pretty much set. The 6th item just depends on my need/want.
