Nymphora has long been a protectress of Newerth’s
secret beauties, its secluded glades and crystal springs.
One might think that the paragon of butterflies and
skylarks would have little role in the brutal carnage
that has engulfed the world, but one need only see the
tiny fangs revealed by her smile to know that she holds
secret dangers of her own.

Yeah cause T cast it as T was running away and hit a hero which a few moments later died. I can garenty this would not have happened without my stun but T didn’t get the assist, which was rather upsetting.
Do you not get assists if you do not deal damage?

Noob talking but this is my favorite hero atm. Awesome for surprise solo or team pushes. Volatile Pod builds up a big creep army for you (healing) while killing the enemy and when some badass hero comes in you just teleport to another lane and continue work there.
3rd spell makes her a killer too
This hero has been changed on the official website, her Grace skill now makes the next spell the target casts free instead of mana restore.
Might be better.

By far my favorite INT hero, every loves nymph popping in their lane and pushing the crap out of it then suddenly popping into another lane once they think about ganking you, ITS TOO MUCH FUN

Pretty good support. Can give allies mana AND health.
Typo on the zeal: its not +5 attack speed for every level. I haven’t tested it, but I know it increases. I think its +20 attack speed per hit on level 4.
Haven’t tested other levels, but I hit 8 targets, and I got +160 attack speed (I think, it might have been like +120 or +140) also i bet the movement speed increases too.

Just tried her out tonight. Pretty awesome. Her ult is so much fun. But I think levels 2 and 3 are better off saved until later. In theory, they’re awesome, but no one ever wants/needs me to tp them along w/ me.
And her little portrait in the circle is of her crotch lol.
with a well organized team nym can make pushes last much longer. I have not lost A game with a Nym on my team.

Nymphora is a mobile fountain during pushes! Finished pushing to base with the team in 20 minutes of the game, hardly anyone needed to go back to fountain.
She is not really targeted either because there are greater “threats” that the opponent sees, and if she is targeted the team can settle the enemies, while maybe sacrificing her. Always feel safe with her around!
(Disclaimer: this is based on pub games) Nym is probly my favorite hero to play, she is a really strong hero all around. Depending on the vs team I usually go phase boots mana battery early, thunderclaw build towards charged hammer late game then crit if I have lots of gold. The defensive items I get are situational, null stone hex shrunken head or shroud. I usually go shroud since I want the mobility and she doesn’t really require hp return or mana return. Her stun buffs her atk speed so much the lightning can hit like 2+ times a second. That’s for 200 DMG each jump. The max atks per second is 20. Late game she gets close to that and with crit chain lightning she is a retarded threat in teambattles. With a shroud to vanish out she is a fucking nightmare. You may disagree and say she should only support but you should try out this setup for kicks, a decent team can play without a healer fine, just because you have one doesn’t mean they have to be a one trick pony. Oh I usually lvl stun mana heal mana heal mana heal port stun etc and go stats over lvling port after lvl one.
You are correct Cloudmind. You don’t need to play her as only a support hero, that in fact spoils the 3rd skill wich is her only scaling skill, and therefor you should get dmg items. However, You could go megasupport if you want to. kuldras, hellflower, astrolabe and all that shit, it will work very well with the team. But I think that going for a dmg role is better in many siuations, as you will get supergood dmg but you will still be able you support alot. BTW: Savaga maze is great for her, scales very well with her high attackspeed.

I play nymphora a different way; I get thunderclaw. Nymph with thunderclaw, on top of zeal, makes for a quad kill.
