Soulstealer
The priests tell young men bound for the battlefield that if they fall, Elysian fields and peace awaits them. But this is not strictly true, not as long as the Soulstealer walks the battlefield. Gathering the spirits of those he kills in a bloody, shadowy sack, he augments his own power with their suffering. Those who see him quake in terror to know that death, for them, will be no release, but only a fiery captivity and oblivion.

Nevermore!
Shouldn’t it be soulstEAler?
Should be soulsteal?
he’s a dreadlord, not a druglo-…oo wait
The first skill’s damage is incorrectly put. Second level should do 150 instead of 100.
Steel is a material, steal is an action.
The tooltip that leads here says “SoulsteEler” instead of “SoulsteAler” :/
The Soul Stealer damage on lvl 2, 100, is a typo. It deals 150, i tested it.
Makes sense, as it then increases by 75 dmg per level.
mb he is the best hero on 5×5
yea i agree with asuraskies. this is one of the best non-op heroes in the game
since I got no beta key (*sniff) I have to ask something:
The skill “Demon Hand” seems to be more powerful than Nevermores’ “Shadowraze”… more like Krobelus’”Carrion Swarm”.
amIrite?
it actually does the same amount of damage as nevermore’s spell and both of the spells cant be targeted. swarm is more of a line spell, so anyone got in the way takes damage and swarm can be targetted
weeeeeee,.my fav0rite.,if y0ur g00d en0ugh y0u can predict thE enemy movEment and can kill tHem with y0ur 1st skill 0n a blind map.,neVermore ruLeS.!!!!!\m/

it is sniper
how was he recently buffed?
the part I hate when facing him, is when he get a portal key, channels ulti from fog, and shift queues portal key on top of you. the ulti will hit with 100% accuracy and basically kill anyone
plus he’s mad to face mid
Can you tell what would be the best combo for him? or as just the game started and what item should i purchase for him?
I tend to get a bottle as a starting item if you are going to solo mid. If not, hp items are viable options.
PS. What hero do you think is the BEST AT GETTING AN ANNIHILATION?
I know soul stealer + tempest works well…
@oh noes- i don’t think that he can channel ulti, then teleport b4 it goes off. I think he’s gotta stay still while he ultis. You can’t interrupt the casting with a blink I’m pretty sure.
In my opinion the following heroes are the best at GETTING Annihilation. (Not assisting Annihilations)
Soul Stealer- has around 1000-1300 aoe damage (after reductions)
Forsaken Archer- you should know why, 225 aoe magic dps! (before reductions)
Chronos- Late game his ult is a FREE HAT TRICK, all that matters is last hitting the other two heroes.
Zephyr- Tanking ability plus huge aoe magic dps can even result in a solo Annihilation
video-> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5EYywXQqCxU
Voodoo Jester- His ult (with staff) is 500 physical dps to 3 heroes (after reductions) and it will be easy to last hit the other two with your other skills.

nope he can’t port. But the good thing about this is, if he gets stunned while casting, it is not interrupted and put on cd like magmus ult. his hands give him great power in earlygame (if used correctly) and his +dmg and armoreduce make him a potent late gamer. Bottle FIrst in general ist stupid, especially on SS. if you have a good team someone will buy courier and you get your bottle as soon as you have 600 gold. but before that, stats are more important especially to get last hits, cause his base dmg sucks. Later you should go for assasins shroud, cause it first gives you an escape, which is very important and second: you gain unitwalking, emaning you can stand directly in your foes doing your ult, mostly resulting in an instant kill.
