One of the best AOE nukes in the game. If used during optimal situations (when theres alot of enemies around) can do massive damage when used at the end of your combo.
Optimal Item Build
1. Enhanced Marchers

2. Ring of Sorcery

3. Fortified Bracelet

4. Portal Key

5. Behemoths Heart

6. Frostfield Plate

Item Build Explanation:
Enhanced Marchers greatly boosts your movement speed, and also lets you walk through those pesky creeps to get to your enemy. The ring of sorcery is crucial for early to mid game play, as behemoth has low base intelligence stats and needs all the extra mana regen and replenish he can get. The portal key is also a must item, as it will help set up your combos, chase heroes down, and make escapes. The Heart and frostfield plate are both luxury items, but I find them to work very well on behemoth, as the heart gives you more HP and stacks with your main attribute, strength, and the Frostfield Plate gives you extra armor and ANOTHER AOE nuke to pop off in your combo.
Skill Build

Stat Build Explanation:
You only need one level of enrage early as you will max out heavyweight to make enrage a 1.7 second stun. I max out fissure because it is the easier stun to hit before you make buy your portal key to use enrage effectively, and the damage with fissure is larger.
Strategy
Early game:
Try to lane with another hero with a stun or someone ranged that either has DPS or a nuke. Last hit and deny as much as possible to make your ring of sorcery ASAP. When times are right, using fissure to trap the enemy can lead to first bloods and kills.
Mid game:
By mid game, if you have your ring of sorcery and your portal key, you are free to roam the map and gank/help when necessary. When you spot a hero or two in a lane to gank, your job is to initiate the battle.
Behemoths spell combo is very simple to execute, and it leads to 4-5 seconds of stun, and massive AOE nuke damage.
The combo you pull is: you blink in with your portal key, Fissure + Enrage + Shockwave. After the combo is pulled off your teammates are probably there to help you mop up the mess. If there are still any survivors, you can easily chase them down with your portal key, and either hit them with an Engrage or another Fissure to finish them off.
Late game:
You are the ultimate support hero at this point if you have complete your item build, and have added another spell in your combo (frostfield). Hopefully your team has a couple of late game carries, so all you need to do is pop your combo during pushes, and it should result in a gg.

Wow dude actually i went 1-7-1 in early game but i got mad and finished 14-8-18
Good build, skip bracer though and rush blink, he has enough hp. And heart isn’t needed, better to go Guinsoo instead.
i agree with Secret. sometimes i go straight guinsoo after perse or blink which ever is needed more impt.
nice guide with items and skill build, but the way u wonna do ur combo is total wrong.
u should blink in ofc, and then shockwave + fissure + enrage
if u dont start with ur ulti u kill all creeps with the first 2 spells and dont get the +65 per creep.
trust me it makes the diffrent if u get all the kills or ur team have to come finnish them off ^^
behe is so gosu can go 1vs5 if the enemy is close the the creep wave its GG !!!! xD
but perfekt item guide
You idiots, Behemoth is just a support hero. IE: his job is to jump in and ult. Firstly getting the ring is a very out dated and noobish build only appropriate if you are playing easy mode with sub-par skilled players. The idea of behemoth is to rush dagger so you and your team can jump groups of heros and kill them from full hp. BOTTLE, boots and maybe a talisman of exile or 2 are all that is needed before the portal key. Also skill build was slightly wrong aswell as your combo…not ulting first! LOL
kind of agree with terrokhan, portal key is very essential.
For the behemoths combo i prefer enrage-fissure-ult. My reason for enrage before fissure is it is easier to blink in and promise the first stun on all of them if you are blinking into the middle. fissure only goes one way so your blink would be off to get a fissure on all of them and you wouldnt be in the middle of them for the ult if you are in a position to fissure all of them.
Did not think about the extra damage from creeps so nevermind on my combo :p
I do the same item build like terrokhan. First item should be bottle then maybe 2 tulisman then blink(asap) then boots. Bottle is needed for mana especially if you are a spammer and for ganking. Tulisman is needed for extra mana to execute the blink, ss, fissure and the second skill. Boots or maybe marchers is either for chasing or for running away.
Then after that perse and soulbooster… sometimes I also go for refresher orb…
Good guide except initiate the way Dolle says and RUSH portal key. Might be a better idea to get bottle instead of ring b/c its cheaper and lets you get portal key faster. Also he is NOT support he is initiator. Initiator, support, Disables, carry, and nuker are the main roles with the sub roles being tank, ganker, and pusher.
Of all the ways listed, I agree with sticky. Support…not really Disable ya, but mostly I’ve used and seen used as Initiator and Carry.
^^ Disable Initiator Carry, most definately
I stick with Bottle,Ring,Portal Key,Refresher,Boots,Shiva.
Skill level: F-issure A-ftershochk U-lti E-nrage
F,A,F,A,F,U,F,A,E,A,U,E,E,S,U,S,S…
Main role is blink in and rape ‘em with your combo:
1.Ulti-Enrage-Fissure-Sorcery Ring
2.REFRESHER
3.Ulti-Enrage-Fissure (you can put another sorcery if u run out before fissure)
Note: You can add Shiva to your combo ofc.
Bottle comes handy in early game, in late I get Shiva (but I never really got it at Refresher at was alrdy gg.)
@thisismt
well you don’t know what will happen in the game. the role of this hero is to support his team mates..not to farm all those items..money will be there if you’re not dying and your team wins clashes..
if you can get your key early, then do it. but if you sucked early game, you have no choice but to get bottle and mass bracers..gank..help team mates..buy wards..by mid game..hopefully you’ll have your key..
awesome guide agree with everything.though my item build is a bit different:boots(whatever u prefer)rush portal key, after that frostfield and after that refresher.the game is ussually over by then but if u got more money u can buy sheepstick and whatever else you like.
I don’t agree with refresher, as the creeps will die from the first time you use your ult. Thus, the second time you use your ult, it will be weak. Behe’s ult without creeps is weak, unless the heroes are all bunched up together.
Thus, I agree with rushing the blink as well as either the talismans/bottle or arcane ring.
From there, it’s all relative. But no to the refresher.
@dk
I dont prefer Refresher. But if u get it ur Ulti will do first 65 DMG pro Enemy and when u cast it a second time it will still make 35DMG (?) pro Corpse in the Area. So its not as powerful as the first time but still good.
I actually think you should add the headdress in there because his magic armor is REALLY low and early game is pretty bad if u keep getting attacked by ranged magic users.
This guide is for noobs, or players that want to play Behemoth in -em games. First item should be BOTTLE and you should not get Arcane Ring. If you lat hit properly, you should be able to get Portal Key before even leaing your lane once. Get 2 talismans of Exile as you need mana. Then get boots then frostfield plate then refresher orb. GG build – should get you tons of assists/kills.
Also for the combo, ULT FIRST so you get the extra Echo Damage from creeps.
Terrokhan, so true.
Manaring is crap.
Laterade, your skillbuild has one odd point: Enrage at level 2. Name me one good reason, why it is more preferrably than Aftershock at level 2. Oh there is none, the bonus damage which you will most likely get from aftershock when fissuring is>the little +dmg from enrage. And maxing enrage before level 25… WTF??? stats are way better.
Imo, your build is corectly even tho i never buy the bracers or finnish of the boots before I’ve got blink.
As many already said you should start with Shockwave before fissure when u blink in.
You’ve got to explain why you pick Enrage before Heavyweight, I can seriosly not se a reason. 50 mana for 50% dmg when u usually hit for like 50 at lvl 2 = 25 bonus dmg. Same as if you hit Heavyweight which cost no mana.
Shockwave -> Fissure -> Enrage
Not Fissure-> whatever ->watever
With using shockwave first, you deal more damage because you have creeps still living, increasing damage output. Your heavyweight skill will stun, leaving them open for a fissure, which leaves you open for an enrage, IMO.
Buy bracers is like buying a can of soup with no soup inside: all you can do is throw it away.
Hmm, I’ve read all the comments and I dont agree with any of you. I’ve played Behe for a couple of games, so Im not really pro with him. But in my opinion you start with the items; Minor totems and pots, save the cash to buy a Portal Key, then start the ganking as early as possible.
You dont need the boots later on, if you are a skilled player you know how to get away smooth and easy with the Portal Key. After I’ve got the Portal Key, I go a little bit of support with him, since I dont need to boost the damage any more.
To be a good support/nuker/initiater with him, you just buy Astrolable and Ring of Sorcery, start with RoS and the Astro. Theese three items is the only items you’ll ever need on behe. If you get more cash, you can buy a disabler item, like Stormspirit or something like that. It gives a little bit of Strength and Intelligence if I dont remember it wrong.
And to initiate the fight, you go: Portal Key to them, then Ulti->Fissure->Enrage.
As someone said before, if you start with Fissure and Enrage, you will kill the creeps thats around the enemy heroes and that will remove ALOT of damage.
get runed axe and GG
Umm there is another way to make behemoth a carry man includes you getting runed axe and rift shard when you enrage man you can deal a 1k critical and splash dmg!
So he acts likes Earthshaker on DotA, So if your gonna use him, you’re the main setter and starter of rumbles, so in DotA,players alway put items that has mana regeneration effects, Of course the most important things in this kind of heroes are invisibility and blinking items….(just comparing it in DotA because HON is like DotA rught^^)
runed axe would be better then a fortified bracer for the extra damage and something like 25% splash damage
Psh… all you have to do is go Assasin’s Shroud and Doombringer and game over…
Doesn’t his ulti work on dead creeps you noobs?
