400 cheaper than in DotA and gives you TRIPLE gold per transmuted creep??? Very viable item pick now
in fact you should say in the description what transmute does matey. Plus if you look at taget unit enemy creeps looks a bit weird.

what a waste of money
IMO not a waste. This item is actually pretty overpowered and should be taken for long games, when you rock at earlies and opponents are going to rock you in lates (so the game is going to last over hour) this item gives you 300 gold every 100 seconds if used to its maximum. You actually can convert jungle creeps of course, but not “Ancients” (dragons and predosaurs). When Vagabond Leader is “converted” into gold it does give over 300 gold. + Add the attack speed necessary for some heroes and you got pretty overpowered item. But if you guys play EM i am not surprised you consider this item as a waste =P
