Depending on the opposing teams make up this is a very cheap shaman headdress for physical damage instead. Makes classes that rely heavily on standard attacks(Andro, Arach, Puppet) laughable.
This thing screams “counter-pick” as far as items go, more so than Headdress IMO. You could also look at it as a poor man’s Ulti Orb with a twist.
Wow used this last night against a Valk/Arac team…lol’d 7 double taps with Pest.

This is the least popular item in the game. But it doesn’t sound that bad. Like if you use it after your enemy has exhausted their nukes, or for running away after a team right.

hmm, that’s an interesting idea, but its already been done in dota and jeh isn’t that valuable. He’s suppose to be a tank/healer so if he’s not taking damage, his other much weaker allies will be hit.
surprisingly useful on swiftblade early game if you get it right after your boots. team rushes in, KILL HIM! SPIN! OH NOES MAGIC IMMUNE!! AUTO ATTACK HIM TO DEATH! TALISMAN!! WTF BBQ SAUCE I CAN’T HIT HIM! DOUBLE KILL! TRIPLE KILL! OMNISLAAAAASH! yes. the caps are definitely necessary in this case. it takes a really noob team to fall for it, but when it works, its farking hilarious. if you want to try this, start with a good friend willing to use electrician, succubus or puppet.

@ jayrq: Well i think getting Void Scepter on Swiftblade is a total waste of Gold!
I believe Void Scepter should be bought by fragile paperheroes to counter the damageoutput of carries lategame or conter heroes in perticular. Magebane, Predator… come to mind. These guys can’t harm you for 4 seconds.
I just found out a huge build with this thing.. Played 2 v 2 and got owned so badly.. I was War Beast and my bro was Pest.. They had.. Tadaaa: Defiler! Use ulti, use silence on pest, use void on herself, and she’s invu.. War Beast becomes a total wreck against Void, and her ulti kills us in a flash!(she can still target us even though she cant attack us, so the “demons” rush through her target, and not on just one of us).. Thought I would win since during my 6 months playing I never came across anyone actually buying this item :O
OFC I meant she can target us so it can target JUST one of us, shouldn’t be a not there!
