Engineer and Forsaken Archer

Two new agility heroes have been added to the game: Forsaken Archer and Engineer.

Heroes of Newerth fans have been spam picking these new heroes in joy since last nights patch, and for good reason.
Not only do these heroes look incredibly cool, but they are also extremely good.

Forsaken Archer is a cold hearted ranged hero, who has spells similar to Medusa and Wind-runner from DotA.

The Dwarven technician, Engineer, has influence from previous savage games and that of Techies from DotA aswell.

A new item has been added to  Heroes of Newerth , Plated Greaves.

Several items have been changed including enhanced marchers , now ghost marchers, and steam boots. Some minor hero changes have been made also, scout has been nerfed slighty to our joy and Dark Lady has been buffed.

Geometer’s Bane – or if your still old school, the Manta. Well this is an item that is definitely one of the most underused damage items you can buy in HoN.

Back in the days of Dota, it use to be a primo item on the likes of a ranged carry, and you most often saw it being used on Mirana.

However, for HoN – this item not only makes many other dps items look silly, but it also plays a staple part of many carries builds and hardly any people realize it.

Witch Slayer goes Roar!

A new hero has been added to Heroes of Newerth, his name… Witch slayer.

Witch Slayer is an intelligence hero that is based on Lion from DoTa, sorry to those of you who thought he might be more like sniper. Anyway this robust hero has 2 disables, a mana draining spell, and a single target oh my lord did he just take out half my health nuke.

An initiator, disabler, enabler and nuker, he is a serious contender in high level games. Famously played in allmost every lineup of the world’s best DoTa team, Ks.int (arguable).

Will Witch Slayer change the dynamics of Heroes of Newerth ? We think so.
